In episode 31 of The Road to Wisdom Podcast we are exceptionally delighted to bring you our conversation with the amazing Yolande Norris-Clark.
Yolande is known for dedicating herself to dispelling the myths around childbirth and celebrating birth as the catalyst that it is: for insight, self-love, healing, and spiritual evolution. Yolande has a deep commitment to medical freedom, bodily autonomy, and energetic sovereignty, growth and self-development through birth and motherhood, One of her most ardent passions is holding women as they embark on an exploration of their own capacity for multi-dimensional knowing, resonance, recovery, and transformation through the interrogation of belief and deep embodiment.

In our riveting conversation with Yolande, we delve into profound topics showcased in her latest book, "Portal: The Art of Choosing Orgasmic, Pain-Free, Blissful Birth." Portal is not just about birth, or pain (or the absence of pain) during birth. It’s part memoir, part philosophical treatise, part theological discourse. It deals with the subject of God, quantum physics, faith, love, religion, sex, mothering, and the nature of power and of existence itself, offering a roadmap for an experience of birth (and of life) imbued with joy and integrity.
In our episode together Yolande eloquently shares her journey of recovering from radical feminism, addressing the allure of drama, and escaping the victim triangle—all crucial elements influencing our ability to choose a blissful birth. Yolande sheds light on the cultivation of fear surrounding childbirth in our cultures, emphasizing the role of men in the birthing process and unveiling the transformative potential of orgasmic birth. This episode is a treasure trove of insights, offering a roadmap to reclaiming power in childbirth and womanhood.
